1 tb Butter Or Margarine
1 Egg
1 Jar Spaghetti Sauce
8 oz Cottage Cheese
1 lb Ground Beef
1 c Mozzarella Cheese; Grated
2 tb Parmesan Cheese
Salt And Pepper; To Taste
1.Make enough pasta make a 1" layer in the bottom of the pan.
2.In a bowl combine pasta, egg, parmesan cheese, salt & pepper.
3.Brown ground beef and drain.
4.Add enough spaghetti sauce to make it very thick with meat (not too
much liquid).
5.Grease your pie plate lightly.
6.Pour in pasta mixture and adjust to cover bottom of plate evenly.
7.Spoon on cottage cheese to cover the pasta.
8.Cover that with sauce mixture.
9.Sprinkle with mozzarella, or just parmesan.
10.The secret to this is that you have to leave it in the refrigerator for
a few
hours to let the pasta form a "crust". It tastes fine if you leave that out
but
you lose the "lasagna" look - this is also called "poor man's lasagna".
11.When ready, heat oven to 350f and bake for about 45 minutes until
heated through.
